| Job description: | To staff our growing Operating System Research Center we are immediately looking for several full-time Solaris kernel developers (m/f). As OSRC Solaris Kernel developer you are working with Sun and the Open Solaris community to improve the Solaris Kernel for AMD processors. You will also support our chip designers to improve our next generation processors. You will be able to spend a substantial part of your work time doing fun stuff and will shape the development of exciting new technologies.This position is associated with AMDs Operating System Research Center. Place of work will be in Dresden, Germany. |
| Requirements: | - Previous active involvement in Unix or Linux kernel development
- Excellent knowledge of C
- Basic x86 assembly programming skills
- Good knowledge of common scripting languages
- Good knowledge of Linux and Unix system tools
- Desire to learn
- Careful and reliable working style
- Capacity for teamwork
